2 Endorsements for Deb Markowitz

A Democrat in the race for Vermont's top job, received two big endorsements Monday.

Madeleine Kunin, the state's first female governor, announced she supports democratic candidate Deb Markowitz.

But that's not all, a group called EMILY's List, has also picked Markowitz.  It's a political action committee, that's known for providing financial support for pro-choice candidates.

"Having Emily's List is like having the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval for a campaign, it takes a lot of hard work,"  Markowitz said.

Deb Markowitz is in a crowded Democratic primary.

Also running, State Senators Susan Bartlett and Doug Racine, former State Senator Matt Dunne plus State Senate President Pro Tem Peter Shumlin.
