A Special Video from Deb about the Campaign Kick Off Rally
On Monday at noon in Barre, I’ll officially announce that I am running for governor -- to create jobs and bring new energy to Montpelier. For the last couple of days, I’ve been working on an announcement speech to set the tone for the exciting campaign ahead -- and to present our vision for Vermont’s future.
We’ve got to get this state back on track with good jobs, a green energy future and schools that don’t leave any of our kids behind. I am also going to talk about the important things -- family, community and the values we share as Vermonters.
A lot of politicians make a lot of speeches. The difference this time will be you. Because we all know words are meaningless without action. It’s time to get to work. I’m asking you and thousands of other supporters to begin organizing your friends and neighbors.
That's why I need you - Monday at the Barre Auditorium at noon. Let’s show Vermont our campaign is full of energy and that, working together, we are ready to tackle the challenges facing Vermont, when I'm governor.
So take a lunch break on Monday. Bring your colleagues and kids. Be a part of this important moment. I am honored by your continued support and I hope you will make it on Monday to Barre.
